Love’s Shadow by Ada Leverson (Norton, 1962)
Book One of the Little Ottleys trilogy. Charming: an upper-class romance played out in Edwardian London. Nicely quirky characters and delightfully foolish dialogue. Light but not lacking: souffle-light.
